What is a biometric device?



BIOMETRIC DEVICES are a form of identity access management and access control. It is an information technology associated with secure identification of a user, which rely mainly on biological identification. The most common form of these includes fingerprint and retinal identification as well as face recognition, DNA, hand and palm geometry, and voice recognition. These characteristics can be used for their universality, uniqueness, permanence, collectability, performance and acceptability.
